工商管理专业要求其毕业生有应变能力、预测能力、综合能力、组织能力，并能在风云变幻的世界市场和国际化竞争中不断发展，不断取胜。其课程内容涉及管理类、经济学类、金融、财务、法律等等，能力训练不光讲究组织、领导才能，也涉及以口才为依托的沟通能力、把握全局、进行敏锐思考、判断和处理问题的能力等。
单证在职MBA报考条件：满足以上条件之一皆可报考。
MBA是英文Master Of Business Administration（工商管理硕士） 的简称，而其中文简称为“工管硕”。此外。它是一种注重复合型、综合型人才培养的学位，是能力培养重于知识传授的学位。它教授的是面对实战的“管理”，而不是注重研究的“管理学”。
