利沃夫国立弗朗克大学

是东欧国家最古老的大学之一,同时也是各个高等院校教育领导者之一。利沃夫伊万弗兰克国立大学于1999年10月11日被授予乌克兰教育与科学部第四级认证（最高的）。该校常常直接简称为利沃夫大学，也有译成伊凡弗兰柯利沃夫国立大学。 利沃夫伊万弗兰克国立大学建立于1661年，至今已经3个多世纪的历史，是乌克兰乃至独联体国家内历史最为悠久的为数不多的几个高等院校之一。
乌克兰是世界上为数不多的几个拥有航空、航天技术的国家之一，同样也拥有很多相关的专家学者。哈尔科夫国立航空航天大学是乌克兰国家教育体系中培养相关人才的著名高等院校。

目前该校共设有包括应用数学和信息学、生物学、化学、文化艺术、经济学、电子、外国语言、地理、地质学、历史、新闻学、语文学、国际关系、法学、力学和数学、哲学、物理学、大学预科培训部在内的18个院系。
