成立于1930年，坐落于乌克兰哈尔科夫市，至今已有近100年的历史，故该校在乌克兰农牧业类院校中算得上是历史悠久，教学质量过硬的一所高等院校哈尔科夫农牧大学建校于1930年，至今已有近100年的历史，故该校在乌克兰农牧业类院校中算得上是历史悠久，教学质量过硬的一所高等院校，被乌克兰教育部评定为四级高等学府（最高等级）。该校目前有在校学生7000余人，其中有本科生5000多人，硕士研究生及博士2000余人；教职员工370余人，其中教授，博士生导师63人，副教授及学科带头人205人。
