中国最大内陆咸水湖水体面积增至17年来最大值
记者21从青海省气象科学研究所获悉，中国最大内陆咸水湖青海湖水体面积增至17年来最大值。
地处青藏高原的青海湖是中国面积最大的内陆咸水湖，处于青藏高原高寒区和黄土高原干旱区的过渡地带，是研究气候响应、水量平衡及水文过程的理想场所。
青海省气象科学研究所高级工程师赵慧芳介绍，根据青海省气象科学研究所卫星遥感监测数据显示，截至2021年9月底，青海湖水体面积为4625.6平方公里，比去年同期增加36.8平方公里，达到2004年以来最大值。
“2021年8月上旬至9月中旬，环青海湖地区各站降水较上年整体偏多，其中刚察站在9月中旬降水较上年同期偏多幅度较大。为此，前期降水偏多是青海湖水体面积较上年增大的主要原因。”赵慧芳分析说。
另据青海省气候中心预测，10月上中旬，青海湖周边及上游地区降水大部偏多，建议防汛部门密切关注天气变化和雨水汛情动态。
