首批月球科研样品正式发放
国家航天局探月与航天工程中心12日在京举行嫦娥五号任务第一批月球科研样品发放仪式，标志着月球样品科学研究工作正式启动。
此前，国家航天局共收到23家科研机构的85份申请，分别来自教育部、工信部、自然资源部、中科院、核工业集团、航天科技集团等方面。经审核，来自13所科研机构的31份申请获得通过，样品发放总量共17.4764克。通过这些月球样品申请的研究方向主要涉及月球火山活动年龄、月球演化过程等方面。
据介绍，嫦娥五号样品与其他国家获得的月球样品不同，通过对嫦娥五号采集月球样品的研究，将对月球与行星演化、行星宜居性等方面产生新的认识。
2020年12月17日凌晨1时59分，嫦娥五号返回器携带1731克月球样品成功返回地面。月球样品已分别在人民大会堂、中国共产党历史展览馆、国家博物馆、江苏省及香港特别行政区展出，所到之处均引起反响。
据了解，国家航天局探月与航天工程中心还将根据地面应用系统的样品处理进展，陆续发布新的科研样品。
